VIGO System S.A. is a leading designer and manufacturer of high performance uncooled IR photodetectors and accessory products. Infrared detectors manufacturing
VIGO System S.A. is known worldwide for innovations in the field of uncooled photodetectors operating in the middle and long wavelength range (2 to 16µm) of the infrared spectrum. We produce high performance detectors for a wide range of applications including industrial, scientific, medical and military purposes.
The constantly increasing demand for our detectors from international and domestic customers is the best indicator of our success. We are constantly improving the parameters of our detectors while at the same time decreasing the costs of manufacturing.
Our achievements in the field of IR photodetectors:

Research and development in infrared technology
Our MOCVD laboratory includes the most modern equipment, made by Aixtron. The MOCVD technology provides us with the ability to grow complex HgCdTe multilayer heterostructures with any desired composition and doping profile as required for high quality optoelectronic devices.
Our basic technology is a combination of MOCVD and ISOVPE methods and has the following features:
- high reproducibility
- low background carrier concentration and well controlled dopant concentration
- high uniformity
- compound substrates application (GaAs, Si, Sapphire and others)
Optoelectronic accessories manufacturing, microprocessor controlled instrumentation
VIGO System S.A. offers products range from single element photodetectors to sophisticated integrated assemblies containing detector arrays, coolers, preamplifiers and readout electronics for operation at a wide range of ambient temperatures. An interdisciplinary group consisting of engineers and technicians experienced in optoelectronics, mechanical engineering and computer science can solve the most sophisticated and complex problems. These are unique instruments, units and test stations.
We carry out our own production from research, design and development work to special orders. All products are related to infrared detectors produced by the company and to their application to industrial, medical, military or other technologies.
