We would like to invite you to join our new VIGO System webinar! During the May’s webinar, we will provide in response to Customers’ demands an overview about our latest developments in RoHS-compliant detectors which replace currently used PbS, PbSe photodetectors.
The second main topic will focus on anty-fringing solutions developed at Vigo which are able to reduce the fringing by 10-40 times compared to the classic flat detector.
The webinar will start at convenient hours for the Asian, American, and European regions.

Webinar with Jędrzej Mijas will present our latest developments in RoHS-compliant detectors which replace currently used PbS, PbSe photodetectors. We will focus on products dedicated to specific applications, for example TDLS and gas sensing. Directions of our progress in these fields will be briefly discussed.
Justyna Chrzanowska-Giżyńska will provide an overview about Fringing, observed as the local signal amplitude, is a nuisance for the users of the infrared detector. Such a change in signal is perceived as a kind of additional detector noise.
Fringing comes from the interference of the radiation reflected inside the detection structure, especially the GaAs substrate. Therefore, appropriate modification of the detector geometry allows to reduce the undesirable effect. The new anty-fringing solutions developed at Vigo are able to reduce the fringing by 10-40 times compared to the classic flat detector.
